Louie Campbell

INTRODUCING LOUIE

Louie Campbell was born and raised in the Ahousaht First Nation reserve in a non-Christian family environment surrounded by alcoholism and violence. He has five siblings. Despite difficult circumstances, God began transforming his life.

FAITH AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Louie was baptized during AYC in the summer of 2023. He completed Counsellor-In-Training (CIT) at Qwanoes Camp in the summer of 2024 and LIT — Leader-In-Training in the summer of 2025.

Since November 2025, Louie has also been mentored by Wes Linde at Valley Church in Duncan, growing in theological understanding, biblical interpretation, experiential transformation, and testimony-sharing within discipleship training.

By God’s provision, he was appointed as Youth Pastor at Maaqtusiis Community Church on January 28, 2026, and has since been faithfully serving in ministry among young people in Ahousaht and neighbouring tribes.

He is prayerfully preparing to study through the CBTE (Competency-Based Theology Education) program at Northwest College and Seminary, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Leadership at the Ahousaht community church.
